Health and Wellbeing

Employee Assistance Programme – The EAP is provided by Care First and can act as a one stop shop for support and advice – offering confidential counselling and information services for you and your family.  The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  It is totally confidential and free to all colleagues.

As part of this package we also offer a mental health and wellbeing app called Thrive, provided to you free of charge for you and your family.  The app contains useful tools, such as relaxation, CBT sessions and a mood meter to help you track how you are feeling.

Digicare+ – Aviva Digicare plus gives you access to 5 different services available from an Annual Health Check, Digital GP, Second Medical Opinion, Mental Health Consultation and Nutritional Consultation.

Gym Memberships – Regular exercise can help you to feel more energised and prevent ill health. Employees can benefit from up to 25% off gym memberships throughout the UK, including private health and fitness clubs, such as Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centres and Spirit.

Mental Health Tools – Access to mental health tools and resources and trained Mental health First Aiders

Menopause Friendly – We have a menopause policy and have invested in training for all managers to understand the effects of Menopause.  Forums available for colleagues to join to share stories and become more informed.

Healthcare Plan – The Company operates a corporate plan with The Health Shield Friendly Society Ltd to provide a health care scheme for colleagues.  The scheme offers a cash plan towards routine dental, optical and selected hospital treatment for yourself and your family, for a small weekly contribution of around £2 per week.  Once you have joined the scheme, appropriate deductions will be made from your salary.
